And the Velociraptor strikes again!

Or at least, he will. I went to see the surgeon today as a post op appointment. Everything is healing really well and everything looks great. Except for that one little part. The one where they have to go in and take out the other part of my thyroid because they found cancer in the first part. NOT HAPPY. My surgeon is pretty much amazing. He walked into the room today and asked how I felt and I responded with what Chris and I have been saying to each other from pretty much the start of my surgery. Im good except it feels like someone stabbed me in the neck. He looked at me, sat down, and said "Well. I'm sorry but I'm gonna have to stab you again." How freakin funny is that? If it hadn't just been confirmed that I have cancer, I probably would have died laughing. Surgery is set for September 10th. I will be barely all healed from this surgery in time for them to do it again. He said my skin is the perfect white for the surgery and everything will disappear easily. Thats good to hear at least. Don't need some gnarly looking scar. About a month or so after this next surgery I will have to have some sort of radiation. I don't have a lot of info on that just yet but will update when I find it all out.
